I learned to swim here, although it didn't look like this back then, probably for health and safety reasons...Anyway I decided to revisit yesterday to take a few pictures and this is what I left with.
The Swimming pool shut down over 10 years ago, on wednesday the 23rd of May 2007 Fire Control was alerted to a fire in the early hours of the morning, a partial collapse of the roof took place which has allowed the growth of some plant life in the burned down bar area. The pool is also now home to a large number of pigeons, I even found a nest in one of the urinals.
